New event headlined by “Supergroup” division for elite-level international boys U17 and U19 teams; Tournament also features open division for boys and girls ages U9-U15; Registration now open for all 2025-2026 Disney Soccer events
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (July 15, 2025) — Elite youth soccer players have an opportunity to become “legends” with a new event coming to Walt Disney World Resort this year. The Disney Young Legends Soccer Tournament will feature a 16-team “Supergroup” division for exceptional U17 and U19 boys teams (32 teams total) comprised of high-ranked US and international players competing at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, December 28-30, 2025.
The new Disney Young Legends Soccer Tournament will also include an open tournament for boys and girls teams ages U9-U15, giving teams a chance to experience the magic that makes Disney Soccer events special, including professional-level facilities, world-class service, surprise appearances from Disney characters and an opportunity to celebrate with teammates and family at The Most Magical Place On Earth. The new event replaces the Disney Boys Soccer Showcase on the Disney Soccer schedule.
Registration is now open for the Disney Young Legends Soccer Tournament as well as the five other premier events on the 2025-2026 Disney Soccer calendar. About 16,000 athletes participate in Disney Soccer events each year from all over the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, located at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, is the home of Disney Soccer and Disney Spring Training and one of the premier sites for amateur sports in the nation.
