LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (May 29, 2026) Disney Golf unveiled a new Grumpy statue Friday that marks the entryway of the recently redesigned four holes at Disney’s Magnolia golf course affectionately known as “Grumpy’s Gauntlet.’’
The statue of the cranky but lovable character from the classic Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs resides next to the tee box on hole No. 14, the first of the four Grumpy holes that include No.15, No.16 and No.17, a furious stretch of finishing holes that provide a fun but daunting challenge even for the most experienced golfers.
The statue, which is about six feet tall and crafted from Carrara marble by Walt Disney Imagineering using an AI-powered stone-carving robot, depicts Grumpy with his signature scowl atop a rock and includes his well-known line from the movie “Mark my words, there’s trouble a-brewin’!’’ It’s sure to quickly become a popular photo op location for golfers on the back nine.
The course also recently began offering “Grumpy’s Gauntlet’’ merchandise in the Magnolia pro shop, including branded shirts, hats and a variety of other golf-related accessories and collectibles.
The Grumpy statue and merchandise are all part of the latest enhancements to the course, which has a rich history that includes some of the biggest names in professional golf who have walked its fairways and greens, and builds on the whimsical Disney storytelling that is visible throughout the course.
