LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (Sept. 19, 2025) – Kylee Withers and Phelicia Blake were just named the next Walt Disney World Ambassadors during a special cast celebration at EPCOT with family, friends and Ambassador Alumni.
This is a role steeped in tradition. Every two years, two new cast members are selected to represent the resort as Disney Ambassadors. As the largest and most visited theme park destination in the world with so much growth on the horizon, the 2026-2027 team will be part of many milestone moments.
“Becoming a Walt Disney World Ambassador is a dream come true,” Kylee said. “It feels so surreal that we’re going to represent our cast with all the growth ahead at Walt Disney World, and I’m so excited for the incredible moments that are ahead of us.”
Prior to being selected, Kylee worked in Merchandise Finance. Phelicia was a Guest Experience Manager at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
“What I’m looking forward to most as a Disney Ambassador is celebrating our 80,000 cast members here at Walt Disney World,” Phelicia said. “I love that at Disney, we create happiness for each other and our guests every day, and I can’t wait to continue doing that with Kylee these next two years.”
The Ambassador Program is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. It was created by Walt Disney in 1965 when he needed help sharing the news about everything happening at Disneyland Resort in California. The first Walt Disney World Ambassador was named in 1970 just before the resort opened.
Decades later, the program has grown to a global team of Ambassadors that represent the hundreds of thousands of cast members at our parks, resorts and experiences around the world.
Kylee Withers and Phelicia Blake will start training over the coming weeks, learning from current Walt Disney World Ambassadors, Serena Arvizu and Shannon-Smith Conrad. They will officially begin their term on Jan. 1, 2026. Updates will be shared on the @wdw.ambassador Instagram page.
