Celebrate Soulfully at Disneyland Resort Fact Sheet 

ANAHEIM, Calif. – Disneyland Resort strives to create a culture of inclusion, so guests and cast members feel seen through attractions, entertainment, food, holidays and cultural celebrations.  Throughout the year, guests of all ages are invited to celebrate the powerful stories, rich history and vibrant songs of Black heritage with a variety of uplifting experiences. The exciting slate of activities expands with additional, limited-time offerings in February for Black History Month and in June for Black Music Month.

Limited-time offerings in February 2026 for Black History Month 

  • Lighting up the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage for the first time, Celebrate Gospel” concerts return to Disneyland Resort for two weekends Feb. 20-21 and Feb. 27-28, headlined by Grammy Award-winning gospel music performers Bishop Hezekiah Walker on Feb. 21 and Yolanda Adams on Feb. 28. On both weekends, the beloved annual event brings together award-winning musical artists and community choirs from across Southern California. 
  • In celebration of Black History Month, Vanguards and Visionaries: Part of Celebrate Soulfully, a brand-new heritage trail of dynamic displays will be spotted throughout the resort, celebrating influential Black leaders, artists and thinkers from the past and present. Highlights of the displays include tributes to individuals like Leah Chase, Ron Husband, Floyd Norman and more. 
  • Select dining locations offer limited-time menu items, such as the New Orleans BBQ shrimp from Lamplight Lounge – Boardwalk Dining and the French Quarter fried chicken bowl from Tiana’s Palace. 
  • Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage will present musical performances nightly during Black History Month for the whole family to enjoy, highlighting a variety of different genres such as R&B, hip hop, reggae and more. 

Experience Black-led storytelling throughout the year at Disneyland Resort 

  • Guests may find Princess Tiana from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “The Princess and the Frog” walking through New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park at various times of the day. Plus, the Tiana’s Palace quick-service restaurant and Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets retail shop surround guests with fixtures and references to her story. Nestled in Bayou Country is Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a water-based attraction that takes guests on a thrilling musical journey.  
  • The best band on Buena Vista Street, Five & Dime, delivers pizzazz and razzmatazz to Disney California Adventure Park. Female vocalist Dime and her accompanying jazz quintet perform hits of the 1920s and 1930s. 
  • At Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park, guests may cross paths with Black Panther or train with Black Panther’s loyal bodyguards in “The Warriors of Wakanda: The Disciplines of the Dora Milaje.” 
  • At select times in the afternoons and evenings, guests may see Joe Gardner from Pixar Animation Studios’ “Soul” playing jazz tunes in the lobby of Pixar Place Hotel. 

Soulful food and beverage selections available all year long  

  • The menu at Tiana’s Palace in Disneyland Park is inspired by New Orleans classics, with rotating seasonal flavors and using select ingredients sourced directly from Louisiana when possible.  
  • The reimagined Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio at the Downtown Disney District fuses its authentic New Orleans roots with its adopted California influences.
