Tasia Filippatos
President & Managing Director, Disney Parks International
Tasia Filippatos is President & Managing Director of Disney Parks International, where she oversees Disneyʼs international parks and resorts portfolio, leading global operations, expansion, and development across key destinations including Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disney Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort in partnership with Oriental Land Company—and a new theme park in development in Abu Dhabi.
Filippatos was most recently President of Disney Consumer Products, the global retail division of The Walt Disney Company. In that role, she led an organization that includes the worldʼs largest licensing business with $62 billion in annual retail sales, the top childrenʼs publishing brand, and one of the leading games licensors, as well as the global Disney Store business and hundreds of shopping destinations at Disneyʼs theme parks.
With the mission of “creating happiness every day,” Filippatosʼ global organization brought Disneyʼs beloved characters and brands into the daily lives of fans around the world. In this role, she focused on driving cultural relevancy in consumer products, ensuring Disneyʼs brands resonated authentically with consumers across diverse markets and cultures. With a presence in over 100 categories and a reach across more than 180 countries, Disney Consumer Products partnered with leading brands in fashion, luxury, technology, gaming, and publishing to reach consumers at every level of retail.
Under her leadership, Disney Consumer Products operated at the forefront of creativity and innovation, including the development of the all-new games and entertainment universe with Epic Games—inviting fans to play, watch, shop, and engage with Disney stories and characters in groundbreaking ways in the digital space.
Prior to serving as President, Filippatos oversaw the Disney Consumer Products business in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as Senior Vice President, where she drove commercial strategy across all product categories, spearheaded DCPʼs luxury business, and oversaw Disney Store retail and e-commerce in Europe.
Earlier in her career, Filippatos led global communications and public affairs teams for both Disney Experiences and Disney Consumer Products, driving transformative change and instilling a business-driven communications approach to strengthen the Disney brand.
Filippatos sits on the Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish International and previously served on the Development Board of the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the Board of Disney Cruise Line. Prior to joining The Walt Disney Company in 2008, she held government positions in Washington, D.C. and began her career as a litigation attorney. She is an honors graduate of Claremont McKenna College and received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
