Oralia Neria Felix
Oralia joined Disneyland Resort in 2017 as an Attractions cast member in Cars Land, later supporting the resort as an orientation course facilitator and Operations Training specialist. She is passionate about training and leadership, as well as carrying forward the legacy of the Disney Ambassador program with grace, kindness and joy.
Michele Mary
Michele began her Disney career in 2000, parking cars and driving trams for Resort Transportation and Parking. She later served as a merchandise working lead in the Emporium before returning to Resort Transportation and Parking as a salaried leader. Michele enjoys giving back through participating in Disney VoluntEARS events. As a Disney Ambassador, she is inspired to celebrate the magic and memories created by cast members.
Where it all began
The Disney Ambassador Program began during the Tencennial Celebration for Disneyland park, marking its first decade of success. As media requests and event invitations poured in, Walt Disney sought a special way to celebrate the anniversary, leading to the creation of the Disney Ambassador Program. Walt chose a young tour guide by the name of Julie Reihm to serve as an emissary of goodwill on behalf of Walt and the company. This was the beginning of the Disney Ambassador program, which has since grown internationally to all Disney parks and resorts.
The Disney Ambassadors of Disneyland Resort serve as cast representatives for 36,000 cast members, official spokespeople for the company and emissaries of goodwill as they continue Walt’s legacy by sharing unique cast member stories and extending the Disney magic out into the community. Today, the Disney Ambassador Program has expanded to include representatives at Walt Disney World Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa and Shanghai Disney Resort.
