Disneyland Resort values its cast members and is proud of its long history of working collaboratively with the unions that represent them. The current contract between Disneyland Resort and Unite Here Local 11, the union representing around 3,000 housekeeping, food & beverage, bell/valet services, laundry and costuming cast members, expired in January 2026 and is currently extended by mutual agreement.
We remain committed to working collaboratively throughout the bargaining process and are optimistic that we can reach a fair and equitable agreement that recognizes the contributions of our cast members while positioning Disneyland Resort for continued success in the years ahead. Upcoming negotiation dates are scheduled for August and September 2026.
Disneyland Resort is proud to offer competitive pay and benefits and a wide range of resources that support cast members both at work and in their daily lives.
- Cast members have an average tenure of nearly 8 years across all statuses, while full‑time professional and skilled labor cast average about 11 years and access to a Cast Care Center that provides more than 20 services.
- Nearly 96% earn above $22 per hour as base rate, and healthcare coverage for an individual starts at $8 per week.
